The Horseware® Ionic® Therapy Liner transforms any liner-compatible rug into a therapeutic rug. The breathable 210T polyester fabric keeps the horse dry, while the ceramic lining reflects body heat as infrared rays. This creates a gentle, soothing warmth that supports the muscles without restricting natural movement.
The ceramic minerals integrated into the yarn provide an efficient, non-washable radiation emission. The horse is continuously supported by the reflected warmth while wearing the liner, without the need for any external devices.
The Ionic® Therapy further enhances this effect with an ionized action that may promote circulation and support muscle relaxation. This technology is passive, purely physical, and works by reflecting heat through the ceramic fibers. It can help support recovery after exercise and relieve minor muscle tension.
For a secure fit, the liner features Velcro loops at the neck and rear corners as well as a simple, practical chest closure. It can be easily integrated into all liner-compatible turnout rugs and offers a space-saving way to provide therapeutic support for the horse.
Note: The liner can be worn throughout the day. It is recommended to regularly check the horse’s coat and skin, especially for freshly clipped or very sensitive horses, to ensure comfort is maintained.

- Ensure all velcro is closed and clips/straps are attached prior to washing.

- Once dry, fold neatly into a breathable storage bag.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from any moisture or damp areas, avoiding excessive heat and UV exposure.
- Your turnout packaging can be used as an excellent bag for multiple purposes such as an equestrian gear bag.
