T-Post steel rail pickets originated in the United States and are becoming increasingly popular in Europe. Extremely strong, robust and durable, they are ideal for electric fencing and can be adapted to different types of installation. Thanks to their shape and ultra-strong steel tip, they can be easily driven in with a post driver, even by one person, even in hard or rocky ground.
These fences are ideal for rented meadows or seasonal pastures as they are relatively easy to remove compared to other fixed systems. If the ground is sandy, the posts can be removed without any additional equipment. If the soil is heavy or clayey, it is preferable to use the T-Post range of post extractors.
The lower end of the post is fitted with an 18cm anchor plate, which ensures a firm hold in the ground and also acts as a perfect reference point for even sinking.
We offer a wide range of insulators for the fencing system. The spikes on the T-posts allow a generous amount of cable, wire or electrical tape to be attached and ensure even adjustment. The capped insulator at the top of the T-posts minimises the risk of injury.
Possible uses:
- T-post 152 cm (fence height approx. 110 cm): e.g. cattle, sheep, goats and pigs;
- T-post 167 cm (fence height approx. 125 - 130 cm): e.g. cattle, small horses and ponies up to 140 cm height at the withers;
- T-Post 182 cm (fence height approx. 140 - 145 cm): for horses up to 160 cm high at the withers;
- T-Post 213 cm (fence height approx. 170 - 175 cm): for horses up to 170 cm at the withers;
- T-post 240 cm (fence height approx. 190 - 200 cm): for large horses and sport horses.

- thin wire or tape: 5-6 m
- wide tape: 3-5 m
- wire: 5-10 m
Advice:
- If the ground is soft, marshy or sandy, you can achieve greater stability by driving the posts deeper. We therefore advise you to consider the nature of the ground when choosing the size of the posts.
- The anchor plate can be removed (e.g. if the post is used as a strut).
Accessories available for installing T-Post fencing:
- Post driver (no other equipment required).
- Post puller for effortless removal.
