Description

The owners of Double <<S>> are Marco and Leonardo Schelfi from Italy. They manufacture horseshoes and other supplies for farriers since 1993 at their father's farm with passion and an ongoing try to new and innovative products.

In order to keep up with the energy requirements of this kind of manufacturing lines, the brothers invested in alternative energy generating sources and build a photovoltaic solar tracking system with 180 Kilowatt per hour. It features an innovative automatic tracking system to follow the sun’s path and increase the energy output of the unit, so that the manufacturing output of Double S metal works is an environmentally friendly endeavor, using clean, carbon neutral, sustainable energy.
