During longe work, line guidance and rein tension influence the horse’s balance, movement flow, and self-carriage. If the contact becomes too rigid or is interrupted during a hand change, this subtle communication can be disrupted.
The EquiSlide® is a flexible add-on system that extends any suitable cavesson with a soft rein guide, making it an effective accessory for precise and horse-friendly longe work.
The soft strap is placed on the noseband and allows a smooth hand change without jerking, repositioning, or interruption of the movement flow.
The EquiSlide® supports a calm, continuous contact and promotes a harmonious movement pattern.
With some practice, the connection between horse and handler remains fluid, enabling subtle communication and a relaxed, focused training session.
As an unobtrusive accessory, the EquiSlide® integrates naturally into existing equipment and supports a natural, flowing longe work routine.
SIZES
The EquiSlide® can also be used on suitable cavessons from other manufacturers. The critical measure for sizing is the noseband span:
- Flip both side-pull rings upward.
- Place a tape measure closely along the noseband.
- Measure from the left side-pull ring over all rings along the noseband to the right side-pull ring.
- The tape should lie snugly without slack.

Sizes:
- Size 0 (Equizaum Extra minuscule – Pony): 23–30 cm
- Size 1 (Equizaum Shetland – Tall Pony): 26–33 cm
- Size 2 (Equizaum Tall Pony – Warmblood): 30–37 cm
- Size 3 (Equizaum Thoroughbred – Heavy horse++): 33–40 cm
- Size 4: 36–43 cm
Choose the size that matches the measured span. The measured span, not the horse’s overall size, is decisive.
