One way of taking the measurements for the right size gullet: place the centre of a piece of 42 cm wire of the wither and then bend this wire so that it fits the shape of the horse's body. Take the bent piece of wire and measure from the lower right tip to the lower left tip, i.e. through the horse. This length then corresponds to the required chamber width.
