LTS CozyCheck – Smart Rug Climate Monitoring

The LTS CozyCheck is designed to provide accurate insight into what happens underneath a horse rug — where temperature and humidity often differ significantly from outside weather conditions. Even when the rug fits perfectly and the horse appears comfortable, heat and moisture can build up unnoticed.

Placed discreetly under the rug, CozyCheck measures temperature and humidity continuously in real time, making it possible to assess comfort levels based on measurable data rather than guesswork.

Equine LTS App Connectivity

The sensor connects easily via Bluetooth to the Equine LTS App, available on the App Store and Google Play. Live values are displayed directly in the app and multiple CozyCheck devices can be managed simultaneously.

Custom alerts can be set for both high and low temperature and humidity thresholds, allowing quick identification of changes that may require adjusting the rug.

Better Decisions Through Real Data

Most horses have a thermo-neutral comfort range between 5°C and 20°C, but factors such as breed, coat, age, and clipping can shift this range considerably. With ongoing monitoring, CozyCheck helps establish a horse’s individual comfort zone over time and supports more consistent rugging decisions across changing seasons.
