The Nordian LED light therapy handheld device can be used to treat horses, but also other animals like:
- Pets : dogs, cats, birds, etc.
- Large livestock : cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rams, etc.
Areas of application:
- Pain relieve: Can reduce muscle and joint pain, as well as pain from chronic arthritis and recurring disorders
- Reduce inflammation (e.g. arthritis): Promotes healing and circulation
- Injury recovery: Scar debulking and loosening of stiff joints
- Skin disorders: Support for wound healing, hyaloma tick bite necrosis, hot spots, abscesses, chafing (e.g. from saddle and girth), bruising, otitis externa, pyoderma, pododermatitis, etc.

Wavelengths: 525 nm, 660 nm and 850 nm
Number of laser diodes: 4 x 525 nm green light 6 x 660 nm red light 6 x 850 nm near infrared light

Power intensity: 60 mW (850 nm), 14 mW (660 nm and 525 nm)
Timer settings: 1-5 minutes (each press increases by 30 seconds)

About the Nogier frequencies:
73 Hz: supports reconstruction/healing of brain and bones
146 Hz: effect on the cerebral cortex, including cortical and mental disorders
292 Hz: effect on tissue, including wounds and epidermal (skin) disorders
584 Hz: gastrointestinal and metabolic problems
1168 Hz: movement problems
2336 Hz: disorders of laterality
4672 Hz: Pain in nerve conduction, i.e. diseases of the spinal cord
Treatment times:
Skin problems: start with 1 minute and then increase to 3 minutes over the next few days.
Sports injuries: Start with 2 minutes and then increase to 3-5 minutes over the next few days.
Arthritis/inflammation or other deep pain: Start with 3 minutes and then increase to 4-5 minutes.

Do not shine the device lights directly onto the eyes
Discontinue using if the device overheats or feels uncomfortable to the skin
Do not use the device if the skin is light sensitive or animals are currently using medication that may cause sensitivity of the skin to light
Do not use without permission from the veterinary if the animal:
is pregnant or suspect to be pregnant
is on medication known to cause light sensitivity
has any suspicious or cancerous lesions
has a bleeding disorder
Contact your veterinairy if the animal has any medical question regarding the use of the device
Do not use close to a pacemaker without permission from a cardiologist
