Supplementary feed for horses

Western horses impress with their compact build and clear head. To do justice to this type of horse, a very special feed concept is needed.

Essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine for better muscling.

FOR SPECIAL TYPES
Western horses such as Quarter Horses or Appaloosas and other breeds originally bred for cattle work are genetically more muscular. They have more muscle mass in relation to body weight than other horse breeds. The ration must therefore provide mainly muscle-relevant nutrients with a moderate energy supply. If the requirements are not met, bones, tendons, ligaments and joints compete for the remaining nutrients. This can lead to long-term deficiencies with early signs of wear and tear.

MUSCLE-RELEVANT INGREDIENTS
NutriStar provides high-quality proteins for the breed-specific requirements. The energy supply is based on fibre-rich pectins, oil fruits and oils. The low carbohydrate content is particularly beneficial for the muscles, which are also supported by a special mineralisation. A wide range of antioxidants such as vitamins, trace elements and secondary plant substances protect the muscle cells from attack by free radicals and enable smooth energy burning. NutriStar is particularly suitable for building up the muscles of young horses (of all breeds) due to its muscle-relevant composition.

COMPOSITION: Barley flakes (fermented), grass chaff warm air dried, alfalfa chaff, fruit fibres (apple/grape), beetroot, wheat bran, maize germ, maize flakes (fermented), isomaltulose, Beet fibre, oat hull bran, oilseeds finely cracked and oil cake mixture (linseed, sunflower seeds, fennel seeds, black cumin seeds) 3 %, wholemeal oat flakes 2.3 %, Cold-pressed oil blend (linseed, sunflower, maize germ oil) 1.2 %, herbs (peppermint, thyme, coriander, rosemary, nettle, camomile, fenugreek seeds) 1.8 %, calcium carbonate (marine and mineral), barley germ, salt, brewer's yeast, rice germ, garlic, magnesium oxide/phosphate/sulphate, vinegar, certified vegetable feed charcoal, carrots, pea flake meal.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:

As a supplement to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass. From a quantity of approx. 300-600 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary. The total amount should be spread over several rations. In case of lower dosage or supply deficits, we recommend the addition of SemperMin or MicroVital.

Feeding instructions Due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 54.6 % of the daily ration (incl. hay). Please follow the feeding recommendation.
