Filling volume: 360 litres, this corresponds to a hay volume of 15-20 kg. This value depends very much on the structure of the hay and can only be regarded as a rough guide.

All our hay boxes offer similar advantages to a hay net and also ensure a natural feeding position. The hay intake is slowed down, which is positive for the horse's health and balance. Here you can read why this is so important.

With this luxury version, hay can now be portioned easily and quickly throughout the day. Included in the delivery is a radio time control with which up to 8 feeding times can be individually set (8 openings + 8 closings).

The box is optionally made of solid oak wood/larch wood/spruce wood from domestic forests. We recommend using the time-controlled hay box only indoors or in a protected and roofed outdoor area. For outdoor use, the time-controlled hay box is made of screen printing plate.

The feed fence is made of a food-safe plastic that does not splinter. The hay nets are made of soft 5 mm thick polypropylene and are available in mesh sizes of 30, 40 or 60 mm. The fastening is fixed by two accident-proof guides, which can be quickly loosened and fixed for filling the box by a human hand. The horse's nose has no chance to remove the feeding grid.

The time-controlled hay box requires a 230 volt power connection (normal electricity), optionally it can also be battery-operated (12 volt, car battery). We recommend the use of the normal power connection, as this variant can be operated with less time expenditure. The time-controlled hay box comes fully assembled to your home via forwarding agent.
