How does the rental process work?
1.) Select how long you would like to borrow a product from the drop-down menu. The loan period counts from the day you received the item (delivery day). The return day is considered to be the date of the postmark on which you handed over the product to the post office.
2.) In the next step, select which product you would like to borrow. Within the drop-down menu, the deposit that must be paid for the selected product is displayed. The amount of the deposit corresponds to the purchase value of the product and will be added to your order marked as a deposit.
3.) You can test the riding pad at home on your horse and make sure that it sits well on the horse's back and that you can sit well in it yourself.
What do I have to pay and what do I get refunded?
- If the item is returned to us in perfect condition and by the agreed date (the date of the postmark counts), you will receive a full refund of the deposit within 3-10 working days to your chosen method of payment.
We will retain the rental fee.
- If you return the rented pad to us late (the date of the postmark counts) we charge an additional weekly rental fee per additional week or part thereof, which will be deducted from the deposit.
- If the returned pad is dirty or damaged, we reserve the right to retain all or part of the deposit depending on the amount of damage.
Who pays the shipping costs?
The shipping costs are paid by the customer. The shipping distance from us to you is calculated in the shopping cart when the order is completed. These vary depending on the destination.
For returns, we ask you to purchase a shipping label for an insured package on your own. You will find the return address on your delivery note.

That makes us very happy! Please contact us at the email address post@cheval-ami.de WITHIN THE AGREED RENTING PERIOD so that we can exchange your rental agreement for a confirmation of purchase and refund the rental fee. If you have received a display item or an already used pad for testing, we will exchange it for you or arrange an individual discount.
Do I get a new or a used rental product?
Both cases are possible. All rental products are checked by us for full functionality and shipped in a clean condition before shipping.
The caracteristics of the LaBona pads :
- The extremely flat side panels offer close contact with the horse. Riding with the pad, you can slightly feel the horses body heat and it gives you the feeling of "riding bareback", but with more comfort.
- The leather is wonderfully soft and offers very good grip.
- The seat and pommels are carefully hand-filled with synthetic wool, which provides a softer feel and greater resilience as natural wool.
- Large nylon straps are worked into the side panels to ensure that the pad retains its beautiful shape for a long time. These straps do not run over the back, so that punctual pressure is excluded.
- The straps are nylon straps covered with soft leather.
- Can be used with all standard short girths
- There is no stirrup attachment
- Can be used with or without a saddle blanket, depending on preference
- The riding pads are suitable for all types of horses
- Can be reupholstered by yourself or by our service (chargeable)
CARE INSTRUCTIONS :
The top side of the pad can be cleaned with a soft cloth or damp sponge. Unlike other LaBona pads, the underside of this model is made of suede. If it gets dirty, it can be carefully brushed with a soft rubber brush. If necessary, it is recommended to use a saddle pad or a saddle cloth, so that the pad will stay looking good for a long time.
NOTE:
Hard, rough or dull surfaces, zips, Velcro, seams or rubber on riding clothes (including boots and chaps) will cause abrasion over time. If damage caused by material incompatibilities appears on the pad that goes beyond normal signs of use, the item of clothing or equipment should no longer be used in conjunction with the pad. Damage caused by material incompatibility is not a reason for complaint. Leather is a natural product and may show colour variations. These are also no grounds for complaint.
