Dermatological care for horses – a success story since 2007
Animaderm was founded in 2007 as an independent laboratory specialising in 100% natural equine dermatology. Animaderm develops, formulates, manufactures and distributes its professional dermatological products in its own research laboratory and manufacturing facility.
In 2007, DERFEN™ was created as the first water-free, 100% natural lotion for equine scratching problems; in 2009, CUTENE followed, the first natural cell-regenerating product, enabling hair to regrow in the same colour.
In 2012, NATEJELY won the Innovation Award as the first plant-based petroleum jelly produced on a large scale.
In 2015, Animaderm received support from the Ministry of Research and launched DERFLY™, the first biotechnological fly repellent.
In 2016, the first scientific study on ‘the analysis of factors influencing the onset of summer dermatitis’ was published; in 2019, Animaderm products received the ‘One Voice’ label, awarded by a recognised French organisation that defends human, animal and environmental rights.
Since 2023, Animaderm has been part of Laboratoires Audevard, with the aim of developing the brand and enhancing it through veterinary expertise.
